Painting costs can be influenced by e.g. with the drying temperature of the paint and the number of layers of the painting system. Normafine 40 HS contains anti-corrosion pigments and can be used as a direct-to-metal coating in corrosivity categories C2-C3. The product meets as a single coat the corrosion class requirements of C3-M with a 120 µm DFT. In addition to the anticorrosion properties, Normafine 40 HS offers good weather resistance as a polyurethane coating. In epoxy-polyurethane systems, Normafine 40 HS is used with an epoxy primer in corrosion categories C2-C5.
The painting properties of Normafine 40 HS are very good and the coating is easy to spray. The spray fan is even and during the spraying forming of dry spray is minimal. It is easy to spray high film thicknesses with Normafine 40 HS (160 μm DFT).
