Nor-Maali Oy has received ISO 14001:2015 -certification, dated 20.09.2021.

Quality, safety and responsibility have been guiding our operations and offering since the founding of Nor-Maali Oy.

In Nor-Maali Oy, we systematically strive to reduce the environmental impact of our own operations. We strive for the longest possible life-span and quality in our coatings. In our operations we are committed to efficient use of natural resources and on improving the use of raw-materials, reducing the use of energy and water.  Further we use already and study more options to use recycled- or renewable materials for our products and solutions.

“We have, already for many years, been committed to operating in accordance with the Responsible Care sustainability program coordinated by the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland. ISO 14001 is a natural step forward to us, it is recognized everywhere and in the value chain supports both our customers’ and our plans to have more environmentally friendly coating solutions”, says Markku Tuominen, Director Offering and Products.

Internal audits conducted by our dedicated team from different function

“As a part of our process development we have set a dedicated internal audit team”, says Nor-Maali’s HSEQ Manager Elina Syrjä. The team conducted the internal audits in the company during 2021. This work has been fundamental work towards our ISO 14001 certification. In addition, all staff were trained in the environmental management system.
